Farfetch expands its boutique network in the Middle East by looking to Dubai

Farfetch, the online platform for the world’s best fashion boutiques, signs its first boutique partner in Dubai, Etoile “La boutique”.

Founded in 2005 by Ingie Chalhoub, President and Managing Director of Etoile Group and the Chalhoub Group, the leading luxury group in the Middle East, Etoile “La boutique” was the first multi-brand boutique of its kind in the Middle East. Offering a mix of the best contemporary and classic luxury womenswear clothing and accessories, from both international and local brands, it is a shopping destination where east meets west: a unique place with two vibrant cultures blending in a unique style.

Speaking of the Etoile “La boutique” concept, its founder and curator Ingie Chalhoub commented: “I wanted to create a house of stars, ‘la maison des Etoiles’, almost a sartorial walk of fame, where every woman and every garment is treated as a star.”

Etoile “La boutique” will bring their one-of-a-kind synergetic blend of culture and fashion and highly specialised buying expertise of the Middle East luxury market to Farfetch. The boutique will join an esteemed network of more than 300 independent boutique retailers, across 32 countries; from Paris, New York, and Mumbai, to Chicago, Berlin and Croatia. By solidifying their commitment to the Middle East market, with this signing, Farfetch will give Etoile “La boutique” the global platform they deserve.
